Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma: The Fourth Plate
Shokugeki no Souma: Shin no Sara – The climax of the story is finally here and Food Wars! Is definitely aiming to end 2019 with a hot and sizzling drama and story involving foods, romance, and its typical shounen cliché. Just few weeks ago, the manga officially ended with such a nostalgic and amazing surprises with a time-skip concluded its story which brings so much sentimentality to its readers.
Synopsis

Psycho-Pass 3
The Sibyl System is back and will definitely make us all crave for more action, psychological thrill, and war of philosophies and ideologies. I have to say this but Psycho-Pass has sealed its place as one of the most amazing and well-written mystery sci-fi suspense anime this decade and it shows no sign of stopping from making us all go mad and question the system. In an idyllic society, there will always be someone who will question the system and the moral standard that it follows. I am definitely having Psycho-Pass atop my watchlist next season.
Synopsis
Justice, and the enforcement of it, has changed. In the 22nd century, Japan enforces the Sibyl System, an objective means of determining the threat level of each citizen by examining their mental state for signs of criminal intent, known as their Psycho-Pass. Inspectors uphold the law by subjugating, often with lethal force, anyone harboring the slightest ill-will; alongside them are Enforcers, jaded Inspectors that have become latent criminals, granted relative freedom in exchange for carrying out the Inspectors’ dirty work. Into this world steps Akane Tsunemori, a young woman with an honest desire to uphold justice. However, as she works alongside veteran Enforcer Shinya Kougami, she soon learns that the Sibyl System’s judgments are not as perfect as her fellow Inspectors assume. With everything she has known turned on its head, Akane wrestles with the question of what justice truly is, and whether it can be upheld through the use of a system that may already be corrupt. Sounds of Life! Season 2
Kono Oto Tomare! Season 2– Chika Kudo and the rest of the gang from Koto Club is returning to continue the drama which is connected all together by their affiliation to Koto Club and their dreams of winning the National Competition. I am also looking forward to the progress of possible romance of Chika and Hozoki though it is not my priority from the anime. All this time, Kono Oto Tomare! had never failed to bring well-written drama and out of this world performance from different Koto clubs in the anime. I also believe that there are still lots of back-stories that we need to see and that is why Kono Oto Tomare! season 2 is making me excited.
Synopsis
Since the graduation of the senior members of the club, Takezou ends up being the sole member of the “Koto” (traditional Japanese string instrument) club. Now that the new school year has begun, Takezou will have to seek out new members into the club, or the club will become terminated. Out of nowhere, a new member barges into the near-abandoned club room, demanding to join the club. How will Takezou be able to keep his club alive and deal with this rascal of a new member? We Never Learn: Bokuben Season 2

In order to give his destitute family a better life, his ultimate goal is to obtain the special VIP nomination, a prestigious scholarship covering all future university tuition fees. Although Nariyuki could feasibly be a shoe-in for the nomination, he is constantly overshadowed by classmates Rizu Ogata and Fumino Furuhashi in mathematics and literature, respectively. To his delight, Nariyuki receives the nomination, but there’s a catch: he has to tutor his two star classmates, who are each hopelessly mediocre at the other’s subject of expertise! To make matters worse, the subjects they are horrible at are the same subjects they want to pursue for their future. As the time to submit university applications draws nearer, Nariyuki must find an effective tutoring method for the girls before it’s too late. [Written by MAL Rewrite]
Granblue Fantasy The Animation Season 2
One of my personal favorite anime from 2017 is returning for its 2nd season as part of fall 2019 anime lineup and I couldn’t be more excited than ever. Though it is quite average at its best, Granblue Fantasy anime series had given me a fun ride – nothing spectacular but I sincerely appreciated and enjoyed it. With MAPPA helming the project, I could definitely expect for a consistent solid animation which makes me even more excited.
The boy, who looked up to the skies and aimed for the Island of Stars, has linked his fate and life with the mysterious blue-haired girl who fell from the skies. What the boy and girl encountered on their journey were companions they could count on and then an airship heading to their destination. The two deepened their bonds and came of age while evading the pursuing empire and encountering the Primal Beasts. However, their path to the Island of Stars is but half complete. The boy and girl advance to their next journey with their companions. [Source: Anime News Network]

Fairy Gone Season 2

“Once upon a time, fairies were tools of war.” The story takes place in a world where fairies possess and dwell in animals, giving them mysterious abilities. By removing the organs of a possessed animal and transplanting them into humans, fairies can be summoned as an alter ego and be used as a weapon. Such individuals who used fairies as war tools were called “Fairy Soldiers.” Once the war was over and they completed their roles, the soldiers lost their purpose. Some began working for the government, some joined the mafia, and some even became terrorists, as each chose their own way to live. Nine years have passed since the war. The protagonist Mariya is a new recruit of “Dorothea,” an organization which investigates and suppresses fairy-related crimes. Amidst the unstable political situation, criminals with lingering wounds from the war and past conflicts emerge and engage in terrorism as an act of revenge. This is the story of Fairy Soldiers, fighting for their own justice in a chaotic postwar world. (Source: MAL News)
Radiant Season 2
Radiant, an anime that I actually dropped from winter 2019 lineup but I felt like I will watch it again and maybe I’ll enjoy it a little bit. I dropped it not because it’s terrible but I felt like it has the same cliché as every other show in its genre especially its similarities with Black Clover. Nonetheless, it’s a pretty average show and its source material is quite popular in France.
Synopsis
Seth is an aspiring sorcerer from the Pompo Hills area. Like all wizards, he is an “infected,” one of the few living beings who survived the contact of the Nemesis—creatures fallen from the sky that contaminate and decimate all those they touch. Being immune to them, Seth wants to become a Hunter and fight the Nemesis. But more than that, Seth wants to engage in a quest that goes beyond the simple hunt for monsters. He wants to find the Radiant, their presumed cradle. Aided by a faction of fellow sorcerers, he travels the world in search of the Radiant, under the harsh scrutiny of the Inquisition. Chihayafuru 3
This popular anime is among the most highly anticipated show this year though I have to admit that I didn’t see its prequels yet so I think I should start watching it now. Nevertheless, I could jump into conclusion that it’s quite a decent anime knowing how well-received the anime is among the romance anime fans.

Synopsis

Neither popular, smart, nor athletic, he excels in only one thing: video games. Haruo would rather spend hours at the local arcade honing his gaming skills than take his life and academics seriously. One day, Haruo meets his match in fellow classmate Akira Oono. Akira is not the type of person to frequent an arcade: she has perfect grades, is well-loved, and comes from a wealthy background. Even so, not only is she able to score a 29-game win streak, but she also manages to beat Haruo seven times in a row. Eager to end her domination, Haruo duels Akira in Street Fighter 2 and resorts to underhanded tactics—which earns him a slap in the face from the shy girl. Fate/Grand Order – Absolute Demonic Front: Babylonia
Fate/Grand Order: Zettai Majuu Sensen Babylonia – Here we have a pretty popular franchise which I also fond of. Fate series continue to bring an amazing show to anime viewers this decade and always deliver the hype that we all need. While, I am seriously enjoying Fate stay/night: Heaven’s Feel, I have some kind of negative vibes towards it and the previous Fate/Apocrypha had been a total disaster for me though I did have fun with it seriously. Now, I just wish I’ll have a good time with Fate/Grand Order Babylonia because its prologue episode that aired few weeks ago had been a fun one.
A.D. 2017 The last era familiar with Magecraft. Society was created by human hands, but it is Mages who have grasped the truth of the world. Magecraft from the past cannot be explained by science, while science encompasses the techniques of future humans that Magecraft cannot achieve. Researchers and scholars of both Magecraft and science have been gathered to maintain human civilization under the Chaldea Security Organization. But their calculations then proved the extinction of humanity in 2019. The cause of this is “realms that cannot be observed” that suddenly appeared in various eras of history, called “Singularities”. Ritsuka Fujimaru, the one Master remaining in Chaldea, has been intervening within these Singularites, alongside the Demi-Servant Mash Kyrielight. He has been attending to the forbidden rituals to resolve or destroy the Singularities: the “Grand Order”. 2655 B.C A seventh Singularity has been discovered—in ancient Mesopotamia. The land of Uruk, governed by the wise King Gilgamesh after his return from a journey seeking immortality was grand and prosperous until three goddesses and countless Demonic Beasts appeared. These enemies have brought Uruk to the brink of destruction. With a “Rayshift”—a method of time travel to the past—Fujimaru and Mash arrive in the lands of Uruk to encounter the fortress city of Uruk and the Absolute Demonic Front, fighting back the fearsome attack of the Demonic Beasts. There, the people who live their lives to the fullest despite the threat, continue to fight for their future. Deities and Demonic Beasts make their assault, and mankind stands up against it… It is the destined era where humans and gods part ways. Fujimaru and Mash, the pair who have raced through six previous Singularities, embark on their final battle. [Source: Wakanim]
Cautious Hero: This Hero is Overpowered but Overly Cautious
Kono Yuusha ga Ore Tueee Kuse ni Shinchou Sugiru – An anime show that I am not sure what to say yet, it could be a big shot that everyone may like or may follow the path of some of the biggest disappointment this year such as Arifureta: From Commonplace to World’s Strongest. Nonetheless, it is too early to jump into conclusion yet and despite having its genre quite fully loaded this year, it seems that Cautious Hero could offer something new and refreshing to our palate.
Goddess Ristarte summons a hero who excels in every area to assist her. He’s everything she expected him to be except for one, tiny thing: this anxious hero can’t do anything unless he’s absolutely sure nothing can go wrong! Even with slime as his opponent, he uses the full extent of his power, annihilating them without a trace. With this overly cautious hero and the Goddess he drags around him, an epic adventure tale begins!

Stars Align
Hoshiai no Sora – Another original sports anime that I am badly want to see next season. A coming of age story that goes beyond the story of sports-related cliché, Hoshiai no Sora is a very promising anime based in my own standard.
The teen adolescence story revolves around the coming-of-age of boys in a junior high school’s soft tennis club, which is on the verge of shutting down. Touma Shinjou asks Maki Katsuragi to join the team for his vaunted abilities, and mentions a summer competition. Katsuragi asks for money in return for joining the team. [Source: Anime News Network]

Ahiru no Sora
Alright, if there are any sports anime that I am kind of hyped for next season that would be Ahiru no Sora. At least, we finally get another decent basketball anime after the legendary Slam Dunk and the pretty popular Kuroko’s Basketball. I just wish the animation could be satisfying as Ahiru no Sora is slated to get a 4-cour anime series which really sound enticing and promising.
He’s short, weak, and has just transferred to a new school. Kurumatani Sora is the main character in this story who loves basketball. Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend. Fine
Saekano Heroine no Sodatekata. Fine – I say this here but Saekano had been one of the biggest romance anime in the recent years and I couldn’t stop my heart from skipping a beat due to how excited I am with this upcoming movie. Upon watching its trailers, I could feel the dramatic tension building aside from the usual funny cliché that we get it from it most of the time.

This is quite the reverse-harem but I sincerely believed that since Mari Okada helming the script of the movie, we could definitely expect for decent scriptwriting and progress of the story in the film. And it seems that there’s more to the movie than what we could comprehend just by reading the synopsis which makes me excited even more.
