After the exciting, dramatic, and fun ride that we had from Hitori no Shita: The Outcast Season 4 which premiered last September of 2021, many fans are now asking – Is Hitori no Shita Season 5 been confirmed? That is what we shall discuss in this post and we go bit by bit through what the 4th season of the donghua has given us so far and what we can expect from any possible sequels.

Alright, let’s get straight to the point first and answer the question – Will there be Hitori no Shita Season 5? The answer is a big YES. Now, do we have Hitori no Shita Season 5 release date? Not yet, but we’ll keep you updated.
Hitori no Shita: The Outcast Season 5 or Yi Ren Zhi Xia Season 5 had been immediately confirmed upon the finale of the 4th season since the series had left with such a heavy air and still many questions and mysteries hanging around that need to be unraveled and answered.
With all of these being said and revealed, let’s talk about the 4th season, what are the events that transpired from it, and what we can expect in the 5th season.
It feels like the whole season had been quite different from the usual lighter and humorous mood that we often get from the past 3 seasons, the first 2 seasons to be specific are a furball of fun and hilarious comedy with plenty of martial arts antics. The 3rd season had us delve and devour the mystery elements that come along with the story.
Animation Studio & Release Date
According to Tencent, Hitori no Shita: The Outcast Season 5 is scheduled for release in December 2022. While Qiyuan Yinghua is returning as its animation studio after working on its 4th season last year. While Tencent Penguin Pictures and Tencent Animation & Comics are returning as producers.
In the latest announcement where its production committee unveiled the opening theme of the donghua on November 30, it was revealed that Hitori no Shita: The Outcast Season 5 release date is scheduled on December 2, 2022. What an early treat to many donghua fans for the holiday season. Unfortunately, because of a national holiday in China it was postponed and the new release date for The Outcast Season 5 is on December 9, 2022.
Hitori no Shita: The Outcast Season 5 Trailer
During the Tencent Video Animation 2022 Conference, several donghua has been revealed both returning sequels and new titles. One of them is The Outcast Season 5 on which the production team has unveiled its new key poster as well as a new trailer to tease the fans for its return.
Now, Hitori no Shita Season 4 had been quite different. There’s plenty of drama as we get to know the back story behind the Company as it tries to deviate the focus of the story from Zhang Chulan and Feng Baobao, thus entering the new set of characters that we will follow until the next season.
However, I must say the main focus of the 4th season is Chen Dou and her story. Furthermore, it seems that we’ll get more of her in the next season and her presence had been thoroughly embedded in the story. Now, we can only get excited about what will be her role in the journey of Zhang Chulan and Feng Baobao on their quest for the truth.
With the new characters introduced such as Guan Hei, Zizai Xiao, Zhenqiu Wang, Meng Lao, and Erzhuang Gao – we’re definitely wondering what will happen next since these freaks are absolutely insane and powerful. Are they allies or dangerous pals to be around with our main characters?
We’ll be getting a whole lot more from the Biyou Village too. Amazingly, even our supporting characters such as Zhuge Qing and Wang Ye are also getting big parts in the story becoming quite independent from the presence of Zhang Chulan and Feng Baobao.
Knowing how the 4th season developed. We can see that despite being dominated by dialogues and setting the story quite far from the usual fighting antics that we often get from the series. It has built the foundation for the next chapter of the series and that’s what we should look forward to in Hitori no Shita Season 5 which promises an even more dramatic ride as plenty of revelations are about to unfold.
One thing is sure though, we’ll still get some more actions and fights from our favorite characters from the series. It promises to be even more insane, as the story goes on with pure madness with these encounters in this story revolving around freaks and gifted individuals. Somehow, we’re lucky to get a trailer that was published right after the finale of the previous season.
