A new trailer for the new Code Geass project had been posted on its official website on Friday unveiling its 1st promo video and new visual. The first of the planned compilation film trilogy for Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion and Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2 anime series is called Code Geass – Hangyaku no Lelouch – Kōdō (Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion – The Awakening Path) which is set to premiere in Japan on October 21, 2017.
The 1st Code Geass compilation film’s trailer feature some new footage that we hadn’t seen yet and created only to supply further details in the story of the first film.
The Code Geass compilation film trilogy titles are as follows:
- Code Geass – Hangyaku no Lelouch – Kōdō (Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion – The Awakening Path) – October 21, 2017
- Code Geass – Hangyaku no Lelouch – Handō (Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion – The Rebellion Path) – February 2018
- Code Geass – Hangyaku no Lelouch – Ōdō (Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion – The Imperial Path) – May 2018
The compilation film trilogy will recap all the 50 episodes of Code Geass anime series with new scenes included. In addition, the franchise is also receiving a sequel titled Code Geass: Fukkatsu no Lelouch (Code Geass: Lelouch of the Resurrection), however the anime format isn’t revealed yet.
