All hail as the cast, staff and character designs for the latest Fairy Tail anime movie ‘Dragon Cry’ had been unveiled in the 12th issue of Weekly Shōnen Magazine. The new Fairy Tail movie Dragon Cry is scheduled to hit the Japanese theaters on May 5, 2017. The film will feature new characters such as Sonia, Zashu and Animus.
The series creator Hiro Mashima is the film’s producer with Tatsuma Minamikawa helming the project as the director at A-1 Pictures. Writing the script and screenplay is Shoji Yonemura and working on the music is Yasuharu Takanashi. The character designs were provided by Yuuko Yamada.
