Yep, that’s right, it’s your friendly neighborhood anime fanatic here, and this time, I’m diving into the fantastic surprise box I received for March! Right at the top of the pile sat the crown jewel of the box – a 1:9 scale figure of Albedo from Overlord, in all her lingerie glory! The details on this figure are absolutely stunning. It’s so beautifully crafted that you can’t help but be mesmerized by it. To my utter surprise, this wasn’t the only Albedo treat! The Otaku Box also included an Albedo Umbrella, exclusive to their subscription! Talk about perfect timing, considering the scorching summer heat here in the Philippines. Now, I can not only showcase my otaku pride but also stay cool under the sun, or even under a light downpour.
Fan Favorites and Exclusive Goodies
Next up was a stunning REM wall scroll, the winner of this month’s art vote. As you might know, The Otaku Box listens to its community, and the scroll art each month is chosen by the subscribers themselves. This one is extra special to me since Rem is one of my absolute favorites from Re:Zero. Now, my workspace will be graced by her presence!
For all my fellow Spy X Family fans out there, The Otaku Box delivered double the fun this month! We got a hilarious Buff Anya phone/laptop sticker, ready to flex those muscles and motivate us all. Plus, there’s a Yor Forger car air freshener. Now, while I can’t guarantee it’ll capture Yor’s essence in scent form , it’s definitely another fantastic addition to the collection.
My love for Darling in the Franxx was rekindled with the inclusion of a Zero Two mini-figure. It’s just as adorable as the real deal and seems really sturdy. Plus, The Otaku Box even threw in a TOB exclusive Zero Two Bookmark! Perfect timing, considering the ever-growing stack of unread books and manga on my shelf.
Rounding Out the Collection
The box also included a gorgeous exclusive T-shirt featuring the character Rebecca, adding yet another awesome piece of apparel to my wardrobe. To top it all off, there was a Waifu Card featuring Formidable from Azur Lane.
