Makoto Shinkai Is Back with a New Film Titled “Your Name”

The visual master behind the astounding anime film such as 5 Centimeters Per Second, The Children Who Chase Lost Voices, The Place Promised In Our Early Days, and Garden of Words is back and he has a new film titled “Your Name.” It has been Makoto Shinkai’s signature to create anime films that directly hit the feels in our heart and everyone knew his works as the epitome of anime films with dream-like animations. Most of his works tackle the human emotions and how fragile humans are, that why most viewers ended up drowning in sadness and feels after watching his films.

Now, Makoto Shinkai has a new film Kimi no Na wa (Your Name), honestly that’s quite ambiguous. He said that he wants to make a film that is “more enjoyable, more beautiful, and more beyond any work he has made so far.” Well, that means that fans should expect for a mesmerizing surprises when it comes to story, the visuals details and the animation. Kimi no Na wa (Your Name) is slated for release in Japan in August of 2016.

Your Name anime film stars include Ryunosuke Kamiki as the male protagonist named Taki Tachibana. Kamiki played Kenji in the film Summer Wars, and Markl in Studio Ghibli’s Howl’s Moving Castle. Meanwhile, the female protagonist Mitsuha Miyamizu will be played by Mone Kamishiraishi who previous portrayed Kanade Ōe in the live-action of Chihayafuru: Kami no Ku.
