After a long hiatus, Chinese action anime Heibai Wushuang Season 3 (The Unparalleled Black and White) or also known as the Black and White Warriors is releasing this year and the long-time fans of the donghua must have been delighted.
Heibai Wushuang is a Chinese anime from Wawayu Animation that aired in 2015 and follows the story of two brothers who are simply known as Black and White (Xiaohei and Xiaobai), they are ghost messengers that keeps the balance between the world of the living and the death. They can be compared to the concept of the Grim Reapers.

The announcement that Heibai Wushuang will return for its 3rd season was unveiled during the bilibili Conference Event that took place last November 21, 2020 where the Chinese company revealed their set of upcoming animation projects for 2021.
The donghua is adapted from a manhua by author and artist Yan-Shu Yu.

The opposite bank of Lethe River is Boundary Realm all night long, keeping the balance of the world’s death by ghost messengers. Black and White Warriors are ghost messengers collecting spirits from the Human Realm. Heibai Wushuang Season 3 release date is scheduled on July 19, 2021 as part of the summer 2021 seasonal lineup with Wawayu Animation returning as its studio and bilibili with Asaka Animation as the producers.
