The third season of the slice-of-life / swimming / drama anime series Free! is scheduled for July 2018 release. Now, Haruse and Tachibana is back together with the rest of Iwatobi High School Swimming Club to bring a dosage of sporty drama and adventure.

Full Metal Panic! Invisible Victory – the fourth season of the mecha, military science fiction anime Full Metal Panic! that first aired in 2002. The show is back after 12 years since the last episode of Full Metal Panic! The Second Raid (3rd season) aired on October 19, 2005. Full Metal Panic! IV is scheduled to premiere in April 2018 as part of the spring anime lineup.

One of the most visually stunning anime of 2018, Violet Evergarden is the winner of 5th Kyoto Animation Award’s novel category in 2014. This beautiful anime is scheduled to premiere in January 2018 as part of the winter anime lineup.

Ainz Ooal Gown is back and will continue his adventure as he embark on a journey to solve the mystery behind the shutdown of DMMORPG called Yggdrasil, where he, himself got trapped. This is a story of his triumph and endeavor to solve the underlying mysteries in the series. This is the 2nd season of Overlord and is slated to premiere in January 2018.
9. Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card
The charming collector of Clow cards is coming back with a brand new story to tell. Sakura will be join by the usual gang, bringing back all the main cast from the previous anime. Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card is scheduled for January 2018 premiere.

Meliodas and his band of insanely powerful knights who enjoy to play around is coming back to set ablaze the Great Holy War. The second season of the anime, or officially known as The Seven Deadly Sins: Revival of the Commandments will introduce the last member of the Seven Deadly Sins and that is Escanor. We will also meet the group’s very own nemesis, the elite squad of demons known as The Ten Commandments. The Seven Deadly Sins 2 will premiere in January.

Although, there’s no estimated dates yet for its return in 2018. It sure feel nice to have Kirito, Asuna and the gang returning after the 2nd season ended 3 years ago.
5. Code Geass: Lelouch of the Resurrection
The critically acclaim Code Geass franchise is back for a 3rd season after the 2nd season perfectly and marvelously concluded 10 years ago. One of the few anime that is able to produced a cult-following in the 21st century, Code Geass 3rd season will surely bring that nostalgic vibes from the previous season and will further increase the fandom of Emperor Lelouch.
4. Attack on Titan Season 3
The moment that every fans had been waiting for, an answers will be finally presented in the upcoming Attack on Titan Season 3 which is scheduled to premiere in July 2018. This season will cover the Survey Corps journey to the Shiganshina to retrieve what is actually hidden in the basement of Eren Jaeger’s house. Although that won’t be easy and the success of the mission still depends on the sacrifices of other soldiers. Nonetheless, this is going to be exciting and amazing despite of the hype wearing down.

The ultimate parody anime is coming back in 2018. Yes, Saitama is back and will give us another heavy dosage of hardcore sarcasm and comedy blended with hilarious fight scenes that will definitely made us roll over the floor.

This is the final season of Fairy Tail. This also follows the highly anticipated invasion of Alvarez Empire on the continent of Ishgar where the Fairy Tail guild reside. For manga readers, we all know that this is going to be epic, as the popular shounen manga finally concluded July 26, 2017. With the Fairy Tail finally reached its denouement, One Piece is the lone member of the Top 3 mainstream anime on air as the other anime namely Naruto series and Fairy Tail closed its book.

The third season for Tokyo Ghoul series is scheduled to premiere in 2018. The dark-fantasy, horror, thriller anime is one of the 4 New Mainstream Anime of the Decade together with Attack on Titan, Sword Art Online, and One Punch Man. Tokyo Ghoul simply sits atop of our list as craving of the fans is in its peak since the 2nd season concluded on March 27, 2015. Furthermore, so many questions needs to be answered and hopefully, this new season can answer those underlying questions from the previous seasons.
