It has been a wonderful year for anime fans, and now, it is time to look back and find out which anime of 2016 made it to our Top 10 anime of the year. There were plenty of amazing anime this year, and our team picked these 10 anime shows that shines the most and enticed so many hearts in 2016.
The winter 2016 had been dominated by ERASED and the cheesy-romance of Snow White with the Red Hair. Meanwhile, our spring 2016 was brightened by the dark story of Re:Zero − Starting Life in Another World. We had also met the hilarious group of Osamu Dazai in Bungou Stray Dogs, and enjoyed somewhat crossover of The Walking Dead and Train to Busan in Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress. The summer 2016 were prettily dominated by the returning red-haired hot guy from Food Wars!: Shokugeki no Soma. And who will dare to forget the astounding animation in Tales of Zestiria the X, a big round of applause goes to ufotable this time. Personally, Fall 2016 made a history as the first canon gay story in a sports anime had been widely accepted by fans and that’s no other than Yuri! on Ice. Natsume Yuujinchou also returned for its 5th season after 4 years in hiatus, still the hype was there and loyal fans never betray Natsume-sama and Nyanko-sensei. Haikyuu!! also a big hit before the year ends and it showcase the highly anticipated Karasuno Koukou vs Shiratorizawa chapter from the manga series.
