The visual for the multimedia project Magic-kyun Renaissance has been revealed on the show’s official website together with the anime’s premiere date and its theme song artists.
Magic-kyun Renaissance will premiere on October 2, 2016 at Tokyo MX, Sun TV, KBS Kyoto, and TV Aichi. The anime will also air on BS11 starting on October 4, while Bandai Channel, Line Live, Nico Nico, and Animate Channel will stream the anime online.
Voice actors Yuichiro Umehara, KENN, Wataru Hatano, Yuuki Ono, Shouta Aoi, and Takuya Eguchi will comprise the group ArtiSTAR as their respective characters. They will perform the opening theme song song “Magic-kyun No. 1!” as well as the ending theme song “Please kiss my heart.”

A world where art becomes magic. In this world, people who can inspire passion with their Magic Arts are called Artistas, and are employed in show business. In Hoshinomori Private Magical Arts High School, where Artistas are taught, a strange new student named Ohana Aigasaki transfers into the school.
Ohana is placed on the planning committee for the school’s yearly Hoshinomori Summer Festa cultural festival. She spends her romantic school life with six other boys who aim to become entertainers in the future.
Each of the boys specializes in his own Arts, and aims to make Hoshi Fes a success. In addition, the boys also aim to be chosen alongside Ohana as the school’s Artista Prince and Princess, only chosen once a year.

Magic-kyun! Renaissance is a multimedia project where you can create great memories with Artistas of greatly varying personalities!
Credited for the original concept is Hajime Yatata (the penname for the Sunrise animation staff as a whole), while directing the anime at Sunrise is Mitsue Yamazaki. Returning to write the scripts is Tomoko Konparu who previously works on anime series such as NANA, Uta no Prince-sama – Maji Love 1000%, Dance with Devils. The character designs were provided by Kairi Yura and designing the characters for animation is Kumi Ishii.
Code name: Yu Alexius is an ambiguous entity who loves to talk about anime and Chinese animation in general. An insatiable soul from the Pearl of the Orient, a frustrated writer and a Houtarou Oreki wanna-be. He is a piece of a lunatic and everything crazy.
