Yūka Kobayakawais one of the characters of the upcoming anime Shōjo-tachi wa Kōya o Mezasu (Girls aim for the Wilderness: Girls beyond the youth KOYA) which is based from MinatoSoft’s game with the same name. Yūka was highlighted in the new TV ad for the 2016 anime series which will premiere on January 7. The commercial featuring Yūka Kobayakawa aired on Thursday – December 31, 2015. Aside from featuring Yūka Kobayakawa which is voiced by Kana Hanazawa, the TV ad also previews Shōjo-tachi wa Kōya o Mezasu ending theme “Sekai wa Kyō mo Atarashii” (The World is New Again Today)performed the anime cast.
In the story, Buntarō is a student who wants to be something, but doesn’t know what. One day his female classmate Sayuki announces she is working on a bishōjo (pretty girl) game. Sayuki scouted him because he wrote a good script for drama club, but Buntarō doesn’t know anything about bishōjo games.
Shōjo-tachi wa Kōya o Mezasu TV anime is directed by Takuya Satō at Project No. 9 with Yuniko Ayana who’s writing the scripts. The anime is based on the game’s original scenario by Romeo Tanaka. Adapting the character design for animation based on Matsuryū‘s original character designs for the game is Takayuki Noguchi. Planning the anime project is Takahiro.
The opening theme song of Shōjo-tachi wa Kōya o Mezasu titled “Wastelanders” is performed by Sayaka Sasaki, while performing the ending theme “Sekai wa Kyō mo Atarashii” (The World is New Again Today)are the voice actresses Haruka Chisuga (Sayuki), Kana Hanazawa (Yūka), Satomi Satou (Sayuki), and Satomi Akesaka (Teruha).
