The original anime Kiznaiver from Studio Trigger unveiled its new cast members on Saturday. The three new casts in the anime was revealed in the February issue of Kadokawa’s Monthly Newtype magazine.
Joining the previous announced cast of Kiznaiver TV anime are the following:

Tomoaki Maeno as Hajime Tenga: A muscular idiot who tends not to look before he leaps. While he presents a rude front, he possesses the potential for leadership.
Misaki Kuno as Nico Niyama: A mysterious yet spontaneous girl who says she can see fairies. Her personality is clear not just in her attitude but also in her fashion.
Kiznaiver anime series is an original work by Studio Trigger and Mari Okada. The anime is the directorial debut of Hiroshi Kobayashiwith Mari Okada writing and overseeing the scripts. The character designs for the anime were provided by Shirow Miwa and adapting those character designs for animation is Mai Yoneyama. Kiznaiver music is composed by Yuuki Hayashi.
The anime’s setting is a fictional Japanese city named Sugomori City, which is built on reclaimed land. But as the years go by, the city’s population is decreasing. One day, Sonosaki tells her classmate Katsuhira: “You have been selected to be a Kiznaiver.” The Kizuna System, which allows Katsuhira to share his wounds, connects him to the classmates whose lives and personalities completely differ from his. The Kizuna System is an incomplete system for the implementation of world peace that connects people through wounds. All those who are connected to this system are called Kiznaivers. When one Kiznaiver is wounded, the system divides and transmits the wound among the other Kiznaivers.
The keyword for the series is “kizuna” (connection). The title itself is a play on “kizuna” and “naive.”
