An eight-minute long video has been released by Pony Canyon last Friday – January 15, 2016 for the anime film Garakowa -Restore the World-. In the video, various scenes were shown from the anime film which opened in Japan on Saturday – January 16.

A floating space without gravity where an infinite number of lights shine in different colors: The “Box of Wisdom.” Inside of this box, there are multiple worlds, multiple timelines, and there used to be many different people. This is where Dual and Dorothy were fighting with enemies called “Viruses.” Worlds infected by viruses must be erased. That is the duty, the job of these girls. However, one day, Dual and Dorothy feel the presence of a new Virus. Arriving at the scene, they see a girl being attacked by Viruses. After saving the girl, the duo wait for her to awaken so they can ask who she is, where she came from, and where she is going. Finally, when the girl opened her eyes, she gave her name, Remo, and whispered only one sentence… “I must return to the flower patch…”

The film will be release in North America by Ponycan USA while it will be stream in Crunchyroll worldwide expect in Asia starting on January 16. Garakowa -Restore the World- anime film was originally screened at the Tokyo International Film Festival in October 2015. The film’s international premiere was held by Pony Canyon during the Anime Festival Asia in Singapore on November 28, 2015.

Garakowa -Restore the World- was directed by Masashi Ishihama at A-1 Pictures. Ishihama previous work includes From the New World. The screenplay was written by Fumihiko Shimo who is popular on her works such as Air, Kanon, Clannad, Amagi Brilliant Park and Infinite Stratos. The original character designs for the film were drawn by Kantoku.

Code name: Yu Alexius is an ambiguous entity who loves to talk about anime and Chinese animation in general. An insatiable soul from the Pearl of the Orient, a frustrated writer and a Houtarou Oreki wanna-be. He is a piece of a lunatic and everything crazy.
