Another light novel series has been adapted into an anime series that will premiere in April of 2016. It is Tappei Nagatsuki and illustrator Shintarō Ōtsuka’s light novel series titled Re: Life in a different world from zero.
The staff and cast for Re: Life in a different world from zero (Re: Zero Kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu) anime series has been revealed by the show’s official website together with a main visual.
The following are the confirmed cast of the anime:
- Yūsuke Kobayashi as Subaru Natsuki
- Rie Takahashi as Emilia
- Yumi Uchiyama as Puck
- Chinatsu Akazaki as Felt
- Inori Minase as Rem
- Rie Murakawa as Rum
- Satomi Arai as Beatrice
- Yūichi Nakamura as Reinhardt
Re: Life in a different world from zero anime is directed by Masaharu Watanabe at studio WHITE FOX. Handling the series composition of the anime is Masahiro Yokotani, while providing the character designs and serving as the chief animation director of Re: Life in a different world from zero is Kyuta Sakai.
Re: Life in a different world from zero Story
In the story, Subaru Natsuki is an ordinary high school student who is lost in an alternate world, where he is rescued by a beautiful, silver-haired girl. He stays near her to return the favor, but the destiny she is burdened with is more than Subaru can imagine. Enemies attack one by one, and both of them are killed. He then finds out he has the power to rewind death, back to the time he first came to this world. But only he remembers what has happened since.
