The second season of the hit anime series Assassination Classroom will run for 25 episodes according to the listing posted on the official website of Anime Japan 2016. Now, a new visual for Assassination Classroom has been unveiled on the show’s official website. The anime will premiere on January 7, 2016 with the main staff from the first season returning for the new season of the series.

The opening theme song of Assassination Classroom season 2 titled “QUESTION” is performed by five characters in the anime: Nagisa (Mai Fuchigami), Kaede (Aya Suzaki), Karma (Nobuhiko Okamoto), Yūma (Ryota Ohsaka), and Hiroto (Shintarō Asanuma). They will sing as a group called 3-nen E-gumi Utatan (Class 3-E Song Representatives); the opening theme song of the first season was also performed by the same group. Meanwhile, the ending theme song of Assassination Classroom season 2 is titled “Kaketa Tsuki” (Damaged Moon) and it will be performed by the Japanese pop singer Shion Miyawaki.
