The anime adaptation of the Ange Vierge trading card game will debut on 2016 according to the announcement revealed on Sega Networks Fan Appreciation 2015 event. It was revealed in the event that Ange Vierge anime adaptation will premiere on 2016 and it will be produce by SILVER LINK. The upcoming Kadokawa and Sega’s anime is based on the trading card game with the same name. Aside from the 2016 debut and the production company to animate the anime, the event also presented the visuals for the new character of Miumi Hinata.
The story of the card game follows what happens when “Hairō” portals suddenly open, fusing three different worlds together. As a result, various mysterious “Exceed” powers are awakened in teenage girls. An academy for these so-called “Progress” girls is built on the isolated Seiran Island in the Pacific.
The Ange Vierge is a trading card game released by Fujimi Shobo and Media Factory, both are brands of Kadokawa. The game features the illustrations by different popular artists such as Kira Inugami, Kaito Shibano, Kantoku, and Abec.

The group L.I.N.K.s comprised of Yuka Aisaka, Mai Ishihara, Nozomi Yamamoto, Rie Takahashi, and Yoshiko Ikuta will performed the theme song of the Ange Vierge.
There are previously two promotional anime made by Production I.G. and Point Pictures that were based in the game and it was released in 2013 and 2014 respectively.
