Additional characters and cast members for Phantasy Star Online 2: The Animation has been revealed from PSO2 Hōsōkyoku 15-Jikan Nama Hōsō Special.
It was also revealed that Phantasy Star Online 2: The Animation release date will be in January 2016 and it will air air on TBS, BS-TBS, and other stations.

The Phantasy Star Online 2: The Animation series will have a completely original story, and the story will follow PSO2 players “who may be near you” on Earth in the near future.
The theme song of the anime series will be performed by Shouta Aoi, the lead voice actor in the show.
Phantasy Star Online 2: The Animation is directed by Keiichiro Kawaguchi at Telecom Animation Film. Meanwhile, writing and overseeing the scripts is Mitsutaka Hirota while Minoko Takasu is providing the character designs.
