Ao no Kanata no Four Rhythm TV Anime Additional Characters

A new promotional video and additional cast for the Ao no Kanata no Four Rhythm: Beyond the sky, into the firmament adult game anime adaptation has been revealed during the live-streamed production presentation of the show last Wednesday – November 25, 2015.

Among the newly announced cast members are:

Naomi Wakabayashi as Madoka Aoyagi, Asuka’s classmate

Takayuki Kondou as Shion Aoyagi, FC club president

Risa Taneda as Reiko Satōin, FC club vice-president

Kazuyuki Okitsu as Kazunari Shindō, another FC club president

Ryota Ohsaka as Masaya Hinata, Asuka’s classmate

Megumi Ogata as Aoi Kagami, teacher and FC club adviser

The story is set on an archipelago of four islands far south of Japan or even the South Seas. It is all but a different world from modern Japan. From the discovery of anti-gravitons came the dream invention of anti-graviton shoes (“grash”) that let people fly the skies. They introduce people to a new realm by enabling flight with just one’s own body strength, without feathers or engines. This led to the rise of the sport of “Flying Circus” (dogfight race).

The protagonist who once hoped for a future in this sport suffered a setback due to an overwhelming defeat, and withdrew from the sport for this and some other reason. However, he met the transfer student Asuka Kurashina, and in teaching her to fly the skies, the old passion returned. He takes part in the Flying Circus again.

Ao no Kanata no Four Rhythm TV Anime is based from sprite/fairysoriginal game and it is animated by Gonzo. Directing the anime series is Fumitoshi Oizakiwhile handing the series composition is Reiko Yoshida. The show’s theme song titled “Contrail ~Kiseki~,” is performed by Mami Kawada with the ending theme song contributed by the singer Ray.

Ao no Kanata no Four Rhythm anime series will premiere in January and it will air on several channels such as TV Tokyo. There will be a preview screening of the show’s first episode on December 26, 2015 and the cast members will participate in the event.
