The second special promotional video for the upcoming anime film High Speed! Free! Starting Days has been released last Thursday, October 15. The new special promo features the character Makoto Tachibana, the first SP video of the film that released last week centers on Haruka Nanase.
In addition, a new end card illustration has been featured following the encore airing of the second Free! TV anime episode, check the new illustration below:
High Speed! Free! Starting Days anime film will hit the theaters across Japan starting on December 5, 2015. The film is directly inspired from the novel “High Speed!” which also received a popular TV anime adaptation called “Free!”
The only different between the anime series and the film is that the series centers on Haruka and the other swimmers during their high school days while the High Speed! follows their journey during their middle school, thus, making High Speed! Free! Starting Days as the anime series prequel.
Some of the staff from the Free! anime series returns in the film such as Futoshi Nishiya who will serve as the character designer as well as the chief animation director. Meanwhile, Yasuhiro Takemoto best known for directing Amagi Brilliant Park and The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya is helming the project as the film director.
High Speed! Free! Starting Days theme song will be perform by OLDCODEX.
