I’m absolutely stoked about the upcoming donghua, Monster Hunt. Based on the web novel “Wu Chengen Ji Yao Lu (Wu Chengen’s Monster Hunt),” this Chinese anime (donghua) promises a thrilling adventure filled with epic battles, fantastical creatures, and a compelling protagonist.

I’m particularly excited to see how the animators handle the various monsters and their unique abilities. Monster Hunt is scheduled for release on October 3, 2024, and it will be available for streaming on its official outlet Tencent Video.
From the promotional materials, it’s clear that Monster Hunt will deliver intense action sequences. The fights appear to be fast-paced and visually impressive, reminiscent of the exhilarating combat scenes found in hot-blooded manga and anime.
