I’m a big fan of anime, and I’m always looking for new shows to watch. Recently, I came across the anime adaptation of The Apothecary Diaries, and I was immediately hooked. The show is set in ancient China, and it follows the story of Maomao, a young woman who is kidnapped and sold into service as a serving maid and becomes an apothecary for a concubine in the imperial harem.
Maomao is a quick learner and a skilled apothecary, but she’s also very intelligent and resourceful. She uses her knowledge of medicine to solve mysteries and protect herself and the other women in the rear palace.
I really enjoyed watching The Apothecary Diaries. It’s a well-written and well-made anime with a strong female protagonist. I also appreciated the show’s realistic portrayal of historical China.
If you’re a fan of anime, I highly recommend checking out The Apothecary Diaries. It’s a great show for fans of mystery, historical fiction, and strong female protagonists.
