In November 2019 during their annual event that year, the donghua adaptation had teased by Bilibili and it was originally scheduled for release in 2021. However, the year ended and no Three-Body Problem had been released by Bilibili, only to be reconfirmed for the 2022 donghua lineup of the Chinese video-sharing company.
Now, what’s even more amazing is that The Three-Body Problem is also scheduled to get an American TV series by Netflix with big names such as David Benioff, D.B. Weiss, and Alexander Woo as executive writers and producers.
