Everybody’s been hyped for Battle Through The Heavens Season 5 after the recently concluded 4th season of the donghua had left the fans craving for more and with such a huge cliffhanger which is the fulfillment of the highly anticipated 3-year agreement between Xiao Yan and Nalan Yanran. That is why we should watch out for the 4th season’s special episodes – Battle Through the Heavens: The 3-Year Agreement which will serve as the real conclusion of the first major events of the series which lead Xiao Yan to his current flight, while it will also guide the story towards the next chapter, the introduction of the Black-Corner Region. In line with the upcoming Battle Through the Heavens Season 5 and the 4th season’s special episodes which Tencent has previously unveiled to be released on October 31, 2021, we would like to highlight some of the key moments from the novel that fans should be hyped to watch upon the release of Battle Through the Heavens Season 4 Specials – the 3 Year Agreement (Dou Po Cangqiong: San Nian Zhi Yao). Highlights of Battle Through the Heavens Season 4 Specials
Tencent has also unveiled the Battle Through the Heavens Special 3 Year Agreement opening theme which features a lot of highly anticipated fight scenes to keep the hype for the series.
Xiao Yan vs Nalan Yanran
Battle Through The Heavens Season 4 had ended with Xiao Yan arriving at the peak of Yun Lan Sect for the fulfillment of the 3-year agreement between him and Nalan Yanran. This all happened when at the start of the story, Nalan Yanran arrived in Wu City to dissolve the wedding engagement with Xiao Yan that their grandparents had set. This is a huge insult to the Xiao Clan and Xiao Yan can’t accept this humiliation thus, leads to him imposing the 3-year Agreement where he will defeat Nalan Yanran in a much after 3 years upon signing of the contract, and it will be him who shall initiate the divorce, to save his clan’s reputation and dignity.
In this fight, Xiao Yan will showcase his development as a cultivator through all the hardships that he had encountered and triumphant he had experienced, through all the meetings and partings that he had. Nalan Yanran will highlight her strength as the young sect master of Yun Lan Sect, all the learnings that she had to learn as a direct disciple of Yun Yun. I must say, we’ll get plenty of action from their fights.
Xiao Yan is Mr. Yan Xiao?
With all the powerful personality in the Jia Ma Empire had been invited by Yunlan Sect to boast the talent of their young sect master, Nalan Yanran; people had been quite surprised when a familiar person appeared before their very eyes as Yanran’s opponent. The royal family is there, the three great houses of the empire, and even the Alchemist Guild are there, maybe it’s only Ya Fei and Hai Bodong who knows that the Yunlan Sect tries to humiliate in this competition is the very person that saves the empire’s face from humiliation during the Grand Alchemist Conference. Yeah, Xiao Yan is no other than Yan Xiao, so I am seriously excited to see how will they react and how will they root for the victor of the match?
YunLan Sect’s Shameless Intervention
This is a SPOILER, with Nalan Yanran’s defeat at the hands of Xiao Yan, this had been a shame for Yunlan Sect which is considered as the strongest power in the entire Jia Ma Empire. Now, to save the face of the sect from the eyes of powerful spectators of the fight, the Elders of Yunlan Sect had intervened and assaulted Xiao Yan en masse.
2 Dou Huang Helped Xiao Yan
Hai Bodong and Ling Ying are 2 of the Dou Huang that comes to Xiao Yan’s aide when the entire Yunlan Sect attacked him. First, Hai Bodong had been Xiao Yan’s acquaintance for quite some time since the 2nd season of Battle Through the Heavens. While Xiao Yan’s still warry of him at some point, he has proven to be supportive and discovered the potential in Xiao Yan, thus he ought to protect Xiao Yan against the shameless Yunlan Sect.
On the other hand, Ling Ying is the Dou Huang bodyguard of Gu Xunér, the young lady of the Ancient Gu Clan (one of the most powerful houses in the entire story of Battle Through the Heavens). He was tasked by Xunér to helped Xiao Yan in times of dire need, and the time has come. In face of the almighty Yunlan Sect in Jia Ma Empire, he was the strongest among the Dou Huang in existence there, even stronger than Hai Bodong, Elder Fama of Alchemist Guild, Yun Yun of Yunlan Sect, and Jia Xing Tian of the Jia Ma Empire Royal Family.
Although, if we have to consider Xiao Yan’s connection, he had been acquainted with many Dou Huang so far which also includes Yun Yun, Fama, and Jia Xing Tian.
Yun Yun and Xiao Yan’s Heartbreaking Reunion
The sect master Yun Yun had finally returned and had been heartbroken upon learning that the person she has guided Nalan Yanran to divorce is no other than his beloved Xiao Yan, the young boy who caught her heart. But she must do her duty as the Lady of Yunlan Sect and has to fight with Xiao Yan, no matter how painful it may be.
Yun Shan Made His Appearance
The previous sect leader of the Yunlan Sect, Yun Shan also made an appearance after Xiao Yan had successfully killed one of the elders of the sect. He was already a Dou Ancestor (Dou Zong), a level higher than a Dou Huang and that’s made him the strongest existence in the Jia Ma Empire. Many people had thought that he’s already dead but it seems that he had successfully breakthrough into Dou Zong and had been living in seclusion. He’ll be one of the main antagonists in this stage of the story, from Xiao Yan’s flee to the Black-Corner Region and until his return for an act of bloody revenge afterward. These events are what we should watch out for in the succeeding seasons of the series, starting with Battle Through the Heavens Season 5.
Queen Medusa & the 7-Colored Heavenly Python
The previously feared Queen Medusa will also join the exciting event. With her soul sharing the same body with the 7-Colored Heavenly Python that took a liking to Xiao Yan, she’ll be among the forces that will aide Xiao Yan against the Dou Zong Yun Shan. She’s also on Dou Zong stage but hasn’t been able to fully strengthen her soul to take over the 7-Colored Heavenly Python’s body.
