Demon Slayer Movie – Release Date, Trailer, Plot and Updates

Demon Slayer fans have all the reasons to rejoice and be happy this 2020 as the anime is scheduled to release its sequel movie this year. The announcement about the Demon Slayer upcoming movie had been made during the finale of the anime last September and it makes all the fans and even the readers of Kimetsu no Yaiba (Demon Slayer) manga excited and hyped. While Demon Slayer season 2 wasn’t announced yet, the movie gives more opportunity for the fans to talk about the anime.

 

Many people are definitely excited and looking forward to the upcoming movie, thus, we have plenty of questions too hanging around our head in regards to it. Among these several questions may include the movie’s release date, its plot, the coverage of its story, and what to should we expect from it? In general, manga readers of Kimetsu no Yaiba have all the answers especially in regards to the story of the upcoming movie. However, we still don’t know if the ufotable will stay faithful to the manga and if there will be some minor changes here. However, we are pretty sure that that animation quality will be amazing despite we don’t have a full trailer for the Demon Slayer movie yet.

In this post, I will discuss several details about the upcoming movie on which fans might want to know about. So, let’s start our discussion with the plot of the Demon Slayer movie.

The upcoming Demon Slayer movie will adapt the Demon Train Arc from the manga and it makes the fans excited as it will showcase the fight between one of the most beloved Hashira and a well-respected Upper Moon demon by the fans.

Rengoku vs Akaza

The Demon Infinite Train Arc will focus on the Fire Pillar – Kyojuro Rengoku and his epic battle with the Upper Moon 3 – Akaza. I will avoid some spoilers but I think most of the fans of the anime were pretty aware of what really happened in this arc, and it’s gonna be a heartbreaking yet important chapter that will enable the progress of the story. Furthermore, the upcoming movie will also showcase the battle of Tanjirou and Inosuke against Enmu – the Lower Moon 1.

Many fans of the anime and manga are actually satisfied that the Demon Slayer Demon Infinity Train Arc had been adapted into a movie as it is a perfect fit to give time for the ufotable to prepare the 2nd season for the anime series.

 

After learning the plot, obviously, the next question that we all have is when is the release date of the Demon Slayer movie? In the latest announcement of the production team, Demon Slayer Movie Infinity Train will be released on October 16, 2020.

 

 

We had been treated to some teaser video for the Demon Slayer Infinite Train movie here. This sneak peek had shown us Rengoku and the other characters to watch out for in the upcoming film. Nonetheless, it’s undeniable that our beloved Fire Pillar Rengoku (one of the most loved and favorite members of Hashira) will take the heroic stage in this arc and we are simply excited about this, though we should also prepare our hearts for it.

Obviously, we are all excited and still craving for more from 2019 most popular and trending anime. While we still don’t have a confirmed 2nd season for Demon Slayer, we all have the opportunity to learn about the story by reading the manga (at the expense of learning all the heartbreaking spoilers). Nonetheless, this Demon Slayer train that hit the mainstream shows no sign of stopping and we all welcome it as one of the leading shounen anime of the new decade.
