It’s gonna be a high stakes gambling waiting for us this July as the upcoming anime Kakegurui – Compulsive Gambler previews its story and soundtrack in a newly released trailer. The new Kakegurui anime trailer which had been posted on the its official website provide a first peek at the series’ animation.
Kakegurui – Compulsive Gambler is a psychological mystery manga series by Homura Kawamoto and Toru Naomura. The anime adaptation of the manga is directed by Yuichiro Hayashi which is slated to premiere on July 1, 2017 in Japan and Netflix. Joining Hayashi as staff of the anime are Yasuko Kobayashi who is handling the scripts and MAPPA producing the animation.

Kakegurui – Compulsive Gambler is a psychological mystery manga series created by duo Homura Kawamoto and Toru Naomura. The story is set in Hyakkaou Private Academy, an institution that only admits the wealthiest students. A student is not judged by their academic achievements or athletic ability, but by their skill at high-stakes gambling. The student council rules with an iron fist, but transfer student Yumeko Jabami is going to show them what real gambling is.
