Ajin Demi-Humananime adaptation will premiere on January 15, 2016 and many fans are excited to see it after the success of the first installment of Ajin – Demi-Human film trilogy. Now, everyone is excited for the premiere of the Ajin – Demi-Human anime series which is based from Gamon Sakurai’s manga with the same name. The anime series tackles the part of the manga that wasn’t shown in the film and it will go deeper in the story and provide precise information about the setting.
On Friday, the official website of the anime posted the key visual of the upcoming series together with information of its Blu-ray Disc and DVD release. The new anime visual features the main characters of the show including Kei Nagai and Kaito.
Ajin – Demi-Human Story
In the manga’s story, an immortal first appeared on an African battlefield 17 years ago. Later, rare, unknown new immortal lifeforms began appearing among humans, and they became known as “Ajin” (demi-humans). Just before summer vacation, a Japanese high school student named Kei Nagai is instantly killed in a traffic accident on his way home from school. However, he is revived, and a price is placed on his head. Thus begins a boy’s life on the run from all of humankind.
Last week, a promo video for the TV anime has been released and it features the same footage from the first Ajin – Demi-Human anime film.
Ajin anime series will premiere on January 10 on different TV stations including MBS, TBS, and CBC. It will be stream in Netflix in Japan three days after it aired on Japanese television. Then, it will be available for streaming in mid 2016 for the territories outside of Japan.
The Blu-ray Disc and DVD volumes will be ship monthly starting on March. A serial numbers for a random drawing will include in the limited first pressings of the first two volumes in order to get event tickets early.
