Ajin – Demi-Human Anime Film Trailer Reveals Theme Song and Release Date

Japanese rock band flumpool contribute their new song “Yoru wa Nemureru kai?” (Can You Sleep at Night?) as the theme song for the upcoming anime film trilogy Ajin – Demi-Human and its television series adaptation. Both Ajin film trilogy and Ajin – Demi-Human, the TV series we’re based from Gamon Sakurai manga with the same name. flumpool previously provided theme songs for other anime such as Captain Earth series and the live-action MW and Kimi ni Todoke films.

A new trailer was also streamed from the anime’s official website that reveals the theme song as well as the release date of the film which will be on November 27. A new visual for the project was also unveiled last Tuesday.

In the manga’s story, an immortal first appeared on an African battlefield 17 years ago. Later, rare, unknown new immortal lifeforms began appearing among humans, and they became known as “Ajin” (demi-humans). Just before summer vacation, a Japanese high school student named Kei Nagai is instantly killed in a traffic accident on his way home from school. However, he is revived, and a price is placed on his head. Thus begins a boy’s life on the run from all of humankind.

Ajin – Demi-Human film trilogy will open in TOHO Cinemas Shinjuku, it will also be release on 30 other movie theaters in Japan for a limited two-week engagement. It was previously announced that the project will have an anime adaptation that will go deeper and provide more details about the story’s setting. Ajin – Demi-Human anime series will premiere in January of 2016 on MBS, TBS and CBC. The TV anime series will be available worldwide via Netflixwhich will air the episodes three days after its original Japanese air date.
