The sequel anime Gatchaman Crowds Insight has been licensed by Sentai Filmworks for North America released according to their announcement last Thursday. The anime will be release digitally while further details about the home video release will be announce at a later time.
Gatchaman Crowds Insight was a part of 2015’s summer anime releases and it premiered in Japan last July 5. The first series, Gatchaman Crowds has been licensed by Sentai Filmworks and released on home video with an English dub version.
Sentai Filmworks describes the story:
Picking up where the hit Gatchaman Crowds left off,Gatchaman Crowds insight flips the premise of its predecessor to explore the more dangerous side of the same technology. After all, arch villain Berg Katze wasn’t destroyed, so much as he was absorbed, and if globally connected networks of super beings can be used for great good, they can also be used for the purposes of evil. When the Prime Minister is attacked by a mysterious new organization, suspicions flare as to who is ultimately responsible, and who the public can actually trust.
