Sentai Filmworks announced that it has licensed Hayate the Combat Butler! Heaven Is a Place on Earth film and it will be release digitally and on home video.
The film opened in Japan last August of 2011 in a paired screenings with Negima Magister Negi Magi: Anime Final. The film’s story was written by original manga artist Kenjiro Hata.

 

Sentai Filmworks describes the story:

When the star-crossed mistress/butler couple take a trip to a secluded vacation retreat, they find themselves trapped in conflicting realities! If it’s not bad enough that Hayate finds himself in a world where Nagi seems to have never existed, Nagi’s having an even less wonderful life, trapped in a mysterious and deadly amusement park of doom!
